Princeville Events Calendar 2025 (Princeville and other spots on the North Shore)

Two lists. First the weekly / reoccurring events and secondly the annual / one-off events.

For residents looking to attend specific community activities such Bridge, Yoga, Dance Classes, AA meetings, Pet Loss Support Group, etc. in the Princeville Community Center visit their online site for specific details, venues and times.

Waipa Farmers Market (every week on Tuesday)
Time: 2:00PM – 5:00PM

Makai Music & Art Festival (every week onWednesday)
An assortment of handmade jewelry, crafts, art, and much more by local vendors. Click

Ahi Lele Fire Show (every Wednesday. Additional Friday showings June – August)
Polynesian fire dance and drum show providing a journey through Hawaiian culture and history.
Time: Starts at 6:00PM with dinner Luau box, the coconut pre-show starts at 7:00PM and the fire show begins at 7:30pm.
Where: Open-air Porter Pavilion (Seats are set up in pods of 2 – 5 seats.)

Kilauea Farmers Market (every week on Thursday)
Lots of produce, eggs, honey, fresh fish and more!

Some 40 artisans and vendors provide local produces, fish, juices, meals, baked goods, crafts and music.

Hanalei Farmers Market (every Saturday)  * * * Temporarily suspended untill further notice * * * 
Large produce market, with grown fruits & vegetables, food artisans, and handmade crafts. Various tasty treats highlighting the culinary talents of the local area.
Time: 9:30AM – 12:00PM (9:00AM start for kupuna)

Full Moon Art Fair (monthly on Full Moon)
Dates: April 6, May 5, June 3, July 3, August 1, August 30, September 29, October 28, November 27 and December 26

Kauai Island Crafters Fair (2nd and 4th Saturday)
Group of Kauai artists and crafters showcasing our quality handmade products
Time: 8:00AM – 2:00PM
Where: at the Church of the PacificOnce a month on the following Saturdays: July 9 & 23, August 20 & 27, September 10 & 24, October 8 & 22, November 12, & 26, December 11.

Princeville Arts & Crafts Fair (every first Sunday of the month) * * * Temporarily suspended untill further notice * * * 
Enjoy local vendors offering crafts, vintage apparel and accessories, jewelry, health products, food, and live music.

Princeville Night Market (every second Sunday of the month)
40 different Kauai artisans, diverse products such as wood carvings, handmade jewelry, local skincare, photography, live music, and food trucks.
Time:  4:00PM – 8:00PM

Princeville Events Calendar for 2025 – Section 2: Annual or One-off Events

Saturday January 11th – Lions Annual Golf Tournament (Princeville)
This event is the Lion’s Club largest fundraiser event of the year and 100% of the profits go towards Educational Scholarships for worthy North Shore students. For details on the 2023 tournament see our blogpost here.

Sunday January 20th – Martin Luther King Celebration
Join in Princeville for the Steps to Peace celebrations at the Makai Golf Course.

Wednesday February 26th
Largest charity auction and fundraising gala on the North Shore. Arranged by North Shore Give. Visit northshoregive.org for more information
Where: Held at the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay.

Saturday April 22nd – Earth Day Kauai
A celebration of our beautiful Kaua’i and the Earth at large, this event will highlight local environmental organizations, green businesses, and interactive learning opportunities for the keiki. There will be live music, youth hula, eco-friendly arts and crafts, local organic food, and more!  A Platform to give organizations a platform to share the good things they are doing to protect our natural habitats and resources.

First Saturday in May – Kilauea
Each year, on the first Saturday of May, we celebrate the birthday of the Daniel K. Inouye Kīlauea Point Lighthouse, which was commissioned as the Kīlauea Point Light Station on May 1, 1913. This is an entrance fee-free day. However, reservations are still required.

June 7th – The 43rd annual Ha’ena to Hanalei Run
This 8-mile course begins at the end of the road in Ha’ena at Ke’e Beach, then traverses the scenic stretch of road, and one-lane bridges, along the breathtaking North Shore towards Hanalei town, ending at the historic Hanalei Pier. Also held is a half marathon, 5K run and a 1-mile youth run. For more information.

Summer Months
Concerts-in-the-park and Movies-in-the-park. Times and movies to be announced.

July 19th – Kauai Outrigger Association Island Championship
Hosted by the Namolokama O Hanalei Canoe Club. For more information visit https://namolokama.org

July 26th – Hanalei Canoe Club 52nd Luau / Community Concert
Hanalei Canoe Club is the oldest canoe club on Kauaʻi and was created to support the youth of Kauaʻiʻs North Shore communities. To purchase tickets go to https://hanaleicanoeclub.org/luau/

July 26th – Annual Hanalei Bay Swim Challenge (HBSC)
Hosted by the Namolokama Club. The HBSC, named one of the top 100 American Open Water Swims by the World Open Water Swimming Association, consists of five fun and competitive races. From the Pier swim for keiki 12 & under to the 1,000- and 3,000-meter swims, there is something for everyone.

August 9th – Na Pali Challenge

Early August – Waipa Music and Mango Festival
Held annually at the Waipa’s Community Complex. A full lineup of entertainment provides a musical background for learning about and tasting mangoes in numerous dishes prepared by local food entrepreneurs and farmers. Shopping for handmade local products and hands on activities for keiki and adults. For more information.

Mid September – Picnic in the Park 
Waioli Town Park (Hanalei Soccer Fields). Picnic, Laser Tag, Mobile Skate Park, Kids Games, Kickball, Music and More.

End September to Mid October – North Shore Give Week
Many non-profits of the North Shore cooperate to bring two weeks of community events, festivities and charitable giving. Details to be announce in June 2024. 

Saturday September 27th – Ohana FitFest
Presented by North Shore Give (previously known as Kaua’i North Shore Community Foundation) in partnership with the Princeville at Hanalei Community Association and Princeville Makai Golf Course. Race starts at Prince Albert Park, winds along the Princeville shared-use path, ocean-view holes of the Princeville Makai Golf Course, the Woods Course with obstacles, and finishes at Prince Albert Park. November 7th – 9th  – North Shore Fine Arts Exhibition
14h Annual Princeville Community Fine Arts Exhibit at the Princeville Community Center. Free to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend. For more information click here.

Early December  – Santa Claus visits Princeville
Santa visits Princeville. He will be at the Princeville Community Center from 1:30PM – 3:30PM

Mid December – Princeville Christmas Parade
Get your bike lights and festive outfits for the ride. The annual Princeville Christmas Bicycle Parade is scheduled for December 17th.  Gather at Princeville Community Association parking lot at 5PM. The parade starts at 5:15pm and follows the Ka Haku walk path from Prince Albert Park to the Hanalei Bay Resort. See photos of previous parades here.
