Āina Hoʻokupu O Kīlauea (AHK)
AHK’s goal is to facilitate solutions to economic, social, and agricultural/food security challenges that the greater Kīlauea community faces. As a community-based nonprofit since 2015  their first undertaking was accepting stewardship of a 75-acre parcel from the County of Kaua’i, formerly owned by the Kīlauea Sugar Plantation Co. The dedicated goal is being able to facilitate solutions to economic, social, and agricultural/food security challenges that the greater Kīlauea community faces. Anaina Hou Community Āina Hoʻokupu O Kīlauea (AHK) Park
Created by visionaries Bill and Joan Porter, Anaina Hou Community Park serves as a multipurpose space for Kaua’i residents. Amenities include restrooms, picnic tables, food service and gift store. Friends of Kauaʻi Wildlife Refuges
This is a nonprofit friends group, which supports the wildlife conservation, education, and historic preservation work of the Kauaʻi National Wildlife Refuge Complex; including Kīlauea Point Refuge, Hanalei Refuge, and Hulēʻia Refuge. For more information visit: https://www.kauairefuges.org.

 

Friends of the Princeville Fountain
Their mission is to preserve Kauai North Shore’s iconic landmark – The Princeville Fountain.   They not asking for donations simply a show of support to protect this historic fountain. A nonprofit organization whose primary objective is to maintain free public libraries in the State of Hawaii, to promote the extension of library services throughout the State of Hawaii and to increase the facilities of the public library system of Hawaii. A non-profit organization formed to identify and solve the immediate and long-term community and environmental needs of Hanalei and Kauai’s North Shore. Hanalei Watershed Hui
A non-profit environmental organization that strives to care for the Ahupua’a of Hanalei, Waioli, Waipa, and Waikoko, guided by Hawaiian and other principles of sustainability and stewardship, integrity and balance, cooperation and aloha, cultural equity, and mutual respect. Hui Maka’ainana o Makana
A community-based organization formed in 1998 by lineal descendants of Hāʻena that is dedicated to perpetuating and teaching the skills, knowledge, and practices of our kūpuna (ancestors) through the interpretation, restoration, care, and protection of the natural and cultural resources that are located within the Hāʻena State Park. Kauai Path is a community nonprofit organization with the vision of Kauai residents working together to preserve, protect, and extend access island-wide through the design, implementation, and stewardship of non-motorized multi-use paths. For more information visit kauaipath.org 

Kaua’i Ocean Recreation Experience (KORE)
KORE is nonprofit organization under the umbrella of the Kaua’i YMCA. It is designed to help both Kaua’i residents and their families who are physically challenged and/or have special needs, to get back into the ocean with the assistance of trained professionals. Kaua’i Ocean Recreation Experience (KORE)
The Kauaʻi Wildlife Coalition (KWC) represents a collaborative effort led by individuals who serve various native wildlife conservation agencies that focus on the Hawaiian Archipelago and specifically the island of Kauaʻi.  KWC’s overall mission is to protect native wildlife through advocacy, science and education. Mālama Kaua’i
Founded in 2006, Mālama Kaua’i is a community-based nonprofit organization that focuses on increasing local food production and access for Kaua‘i. They do this through a lens of resilience and sustainability, which leverages workforce and economic development efforts, partnerships and innovative programs to grow community capacity. Reef Guardians
Using the latest developments in technology, Reef Guardians works with local communities, universities, businesses and governments to monitor the rapid changes within our coastal environment. With a better understanding of the problems within this fragile ecosystem, we can all together create solutions to preserve the reefs. Reef Guardians provides environmental education programs for children and teens, including Reef Camp science, culture and arts snorkeling learning adventure during all school breaks.
