North Shore Library at Princeville
Friends of the North Shore Library at Princeville serves as a bridge between the Princeville Public Library and the culturally rich and diverse communities it serves. During 2022, the Friends of the Library supported the Princeville Public Library in a variety of ways.
For example:
- Funding the ‘Ohana Readers program;
- Conducting outdoor book sales for the public;
- Re-establishing the Princeville Center Food Court book cart;
- Starting a native Hawaiian gardening club to care for the Library’s garden; and
- Purchasing books, DVDS, audiobooks, magazines and other materials for the Library
With your help we can do even more!
Now in the fall of 2022, the Library are recruiting applicants from all sorts of backgrounds and with a wide diversity of skills. They are particularly interested in persons who may have experience in the following areas:
- Financial or basic accounting
- Good writing skills
- Social media
- Community outreach
