Melissa King, Bravo TV’s Top Chef for Season 17, will host a wine pairing, cooking class and three-course dinner as part of 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay‘s Chefs by Nature series in April.

In addition to being named Top Chef and the fan favorite for the All-Stars: Los Angeles season, King is the host of National Geographic’s “Tasting Wild.” King has also judged Bravo’s Top Chef series and the Food Network’s The Julia Child Challenge, according to representatives of 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay.

On April 12, King, who is also a sommelier, will host a wine pairing using herbs from the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay rooftop garden for $250 per person. On April 13, she will host a cooking master class at 1 Kitchen for $250 per person. On April 14, she will host a three-course dinner with wine pairings for $225 per person. A portion of the sales from dinner will go to the Kauai Community College Culinary Arts Program.
