Last night, Prince Albert Park transformed into an open-air cinema paradise as over 100 residents and tourists gathered for a special movie night under Kauaʻi’s glowing skies. The evening buzzed with laughter, joy, and the unmistakable sound of keiki running barefoot through the grass, their excitement as boundless as the ocean Moana sails.
Families brought blankets, beach chairs, and coolers, staking out spots early as the sun dipped behind the Hanalei mountains. As dusk settled, the screen lit up with Moana 2, the highly anticipated sequel that once again captured hearts with its vibrant storytelling, catchy songs, and powerful message of courage and connection to nature.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Princeville at Hanalei Community Association, the night was entirely free—proving once again how deeply this community values shared experiences. The event wasn’t just a movie—it was a celebration of togetherness. As Moana journeyed beyond the reef once more, our own Princeville community shared an evening of warmth, wonder, and unforgettable memories.
