Last week North Shore Give donated $20,000 in grants for health and fitness programs to Hanalei School Foundation, Kilauea School PTSA, Kauai Christian Academy, Kanuikapono Public Charter School and Kauai Homeschool Now. Over the past 12 years, North Shore Give has prioritized education with regular grants to all elementary North Shore schools; providing scholarships; and focusing on establishing the area’s first public middle and high school, Namahana School.
The latest grants are from event proceeds of the Ohana FitFest hosted by North Shore Give during North Shore Give Week from September 21 to September 28th.
North Shore Give is a 501(c)(3) community foundation, that has awarded over $1.3 million in grants to more than 40 nonprofits, making it one of the most active charitable organizations on Kauaʻi’s North Shore. In 2024, our grants supported essential projects including water quality testing, wastewater upgrades and future installations, and ongoing abandoned vehicle removal.
